JADEN’S CATERING ORDERING INFORMATION & POLICIES:
- PLACING AN ORDER: Our office staff is available to assist you Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 4:00PM at (412) 373-8575 or (412) 373-0532 or you can e-mail us at info@jadenscatering.kinsta.cloud. Please give us as much notice as possible when ordering. We receive and listen to our voicemail on a daily basis. If you decide to leave a phone message, please repeat your phone number twice and we will return your call at the earliest convenience.
- NOTICE: All of our food is made to order and requires a minimum of 24 hours notice for standard menus. Two to three business days is highly recommended when ordering for groups of 50 or more (with exception of a wake service).
- MINIMUM ORDER: Due to the quality, quantity, and labor involved in preparing our food, certain items require a minimum order to be cost effective. Most menus and food items must have a minimum order of 10 guests. Other menus, like our Theme Menus, require minimum of at least 25 guests or more.
- CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES: You may cancel your order up to 24 hours prior to delivery at no charge. Because our catering is custom-prepared, cancellation within 24 hours of an event will incur a charge of 50% of your total event.
- PAYMENT: All orders must be accompanied by a credit card number at the time the order is placed, unless your account was set-up in advance with our office. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, checks, or cash. If you choose to make your payment by check or cash, we require to have full payment made 48 hours prior to your event, unless it was previously arranged by our office staff.
- HOLIDAY ORDERS: Due to high demand during the holiday season, we require 1-2 weeks’ notice of every holiday catering order. Due to high demand of holiday dessert/cookie orders, we cannot do individual cookie orders for the month of December. We will take orders for baker’s choice cookie trays only during the month of December. Please allow as much notice as possible when ordering during the holiday season.
- DELIVERY: There will be a delivery fee added to your total based on location of your delivery and type of event. There may be an additional fee if pick-up of equipment is required. Traffic, security issues, parking, construction, weather and other issues beyond our control may delay delivery. Please provide a 15 – 20 minute range of time when delivery can be accepted.
- MOBILEWARE is provided (plates, napkins, silverware and serving utensils, cups & ice when you order drinks) at no extra fee with a full menu only. China service, silverware, and glassware are available for an additional fee. Please contact our office staff for details.
- HOT/COLD FOOD: All items are placed on disposable trays and pans, unless otherwise requested. We will provide you with disposable chafing dishes at $10 per hot item or you may rent our stainless steel chafing dishes at $25 per hot item. Coffee service policy varies on each event, please ask for details. Pick-up may be required on all non-disposable equipment; therefore an additional fee may be required.
- ADDITIONAL SERVICES: We are a full service caterer and can provide a wide range of services including rental equipment and supplies, linens, professional servers and chefs, etc. Please call or e-mail for more information. There are minimum requirements for all extra services that we provide.
- SPECIAL REQUESTS: We will welcome any special request or services and we will do our best to honor them with advanced notice.
- TAXES: local sales tax of 7% is added to all orders. Tax-exempt organizations must provide a proper exemption form or exemption number prior to catering your event.
- GRATUITY: Service gratuity is based on 18% of your total invoice. Driver gratuity is not included in your delivery fee and is at your discretion.
- ALLERGIES: Attention to those individuals who are allergic to wheat, dairy, soy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and crustacean shellfish: Although our staff at Jaden’s Catering takes precautions to safely handle ingredients and foods that contain potential allergens, cross-contact may occur. Our establishment is not free of these ingredients that are potential allergens to certain individuals. Highly sensitive individuals should discuss the risks of cross-contamination with their physicians.
